SLINDILE PRECIOUS MKHIZE – DIRECTOR

Slindile Precious Mkhize graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with an LLB in 2003. She served at the Legal Aid Board as a candidate attorney from April 2004 to April 2005. She then joined went to Randles Inc. where she completed her candidature.

She was admitted as an attorney in 2006 and practiced as a professional assistant at Randles Inc. where she was dealing with the drafting of contracts of sale, contracts of lease, deeds of transfer and estate matters. Thereafter she joined Hathorn Cameron & co. as a professional assistant, again drafting contracts of sale, contracts of lease, deeds of transfer, estate matters, divorce matters and civil litigation until March 2008. Slindile then joined the National Prosecuting Authority as a Regional Court Prosecutor and Case Manager (Junior State Advocate) until October 2017. Slindile Precious Mkhize joined the firm as a professional in November 2017.

NJABULO MASEKO – CONSULTANT

Njabulo Maseko graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg in 1999 with a BA degree and in 2001 with an LLB degree. He served his articles of clerkship with Peter Rutsch at Peter Rutsch and Company. He was admitted as an attorney in August 2002 and became a professional assistant at Rutsch Howard Inc.

He formed Maseko & Associates in April 2004, went on to join Randles Incorporated in 2007 as a director and qualified as a conveyancer in 2008. He became a shareholder at Randles Incorporated in 2009. Around February 2010, Mr Maseko resigned from Randles Inc and resumed the day to day running of Maseko Mbatha & Associates as a partner. In 2017, the partnership dissolved and the firm was incorporated as Maseko Mbatha Inc.
Njabulo Maseko has a right of admission in the High Court and focuses on the following areas of law:-

BUSISIWE XIMBA- PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANT

Busisiwe Ximba has recently joined Maseko Mabatha Inc. Busisiwe graduated from the University of KwaZulu Natal Pietermaritzburg with a BA degree in 2014 and an LLB Degree in 2016. Busisiwe did her articles at Randles Attorneys and got admitted as an attorney on the 23rd of March 2018.

LEMMY NKAMANE- PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANT

Lemmy Nkamane graduated at the University of Kwazulu-Natal Pitermaritzburg with a BA degree in 1999 and with an LLB degree in 2013.

He worked for the CCMA as an interpreter from 2003 until 2008. He joined the firm as a Candidate Attorney in 2014.

SEBENELE MASEKO – CANDIDATE ATTORNEY

Sebenele obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Swaziland in 2008. He joined Maseko Mbatha Attorneys in 2012 and is currently serving his articles of clerkship under Mr Njabulo Maseko.

Sebenele focuses on the following areas:

SPHELELE MYENI – CANDIDATE ATTORNEY

Sphelele Myeni obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Zululand in 2014 and completed Practical Legal Training at the School for Legal Practice Durban in 2015. He joined Maseko Mbatha Inc. in March 2017 and is currently serving his articles of clerkship under Mr Njabulo Maseko.

Sphelele’s focus areas are mainly but not limited to the following areas of law:

BONGEKILE NTULI- ESTATES ADMINISTRATION AND CONVEYANCING CLERK

Bongekile Ntuli joined the firm in 2010 and has been working hand in hand with Mr Maseko in the Estates and Conveyancing department of the firm ever since. In 2013 she obtained certificates in Administration of Estates and Conveyancing.

She is well versed and experienced in, amongst others, all aspects of conveyancing transactions and the entire process of the administration of an estate.

She deals with all spheres of transfers, namely;

Conventional transfers;
• Sectional titles; and
• Deed of Grant transfers.

She compiles;
• All the FICA documents,
• Electrical compliance and entomologist certificates; and
• All supporting documents required to be lodged with the Deeds Office.

She also deals with requests for bond cancellation figures from the banks; prepares consent to bond cancellation documentation; and all relevant correspondence and she also assists in procuring or providing guarantees.

She assists in the preparing and registering of contracts; restrictive conditions or interdicts against title deeds as well as the cancellations of such recordings.

EZILE ZIHLE – LEGAL SECRETARY

Ezile, started working for the firm as a receptionist in 2013 and is currently secretary to the partners. She has obtained a higher certificate in Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa. She has also attended the requisite course and qualified as a conveyancing paralegal secretary. She is currently studying Bcom (law) at the University of South Africa.

Ezile is paralegal secretary on the following areas:

• Land legal auditing and land negotiations,
• Land Titles adjustments,
• RAF claims,
• Expropriations,
• Various Projects.

NOMALUNGELO NDLOVU- INTERNAL BOOKEEPER

Nomalungelo Ndlovu graduated from Mangosuthu University of Technology with a diploma in Accounting in 2014 and is currently studying towards a degree in Financial Accounting. She joined the firm in August 2014.

Nomalungelo focuses on the following areas of the business:

• Accounts
• Estates
• Human resources and staff administration

NOMCEBO MAGWAZA-RECEPTIONIST

Nomcebo Magwaza joined the firm in 2014. She has been working in the front desk of the office and has thus become the face of the firm. She received her Computer Literacy Certificate from Avuxeni Computer Academy KZN.

Her duties are, but not limited to, the following:

• Answering of switchboard;
• Emailing and faxing;
• Booking meetings;
• Managing stationery;
• Welcoming clients;
• Opening files and filing;
• Taking minutes;
• Collecting postages.
